Sari Aburas , MSc student

Sari Aburas has BSc in medical laboratory technology from Arab American University. Sari did a first MSc thesis in Biotechnology at Bethlehem University. Along 2019 he joined the lab of Nathan Karin as a major candidate for direct Ph.D. thesis.  His major research focuses on the role of the chemokines CXCL9 and CXCL10 in the immunobiology of cancer diseases, with a particular interest in melanoma. Sari is trying to define the direct effect of these chemokines of the function of CD8+ T cells and their direct action on tumor cells in the in vivo set up
